Although typically not a fan of Jason Mraz, I ended up on Mr. A-Z this evening as I was taking care of some work. Got to say, I really enjoyed this song.

Sometimes Pandora surprises me with the music they suggest, and when this song cut in after a fast paced one, I was caught off guard. The song however turned out to be just what I needed to hear at the time, so I figured it was worth sharing.

Ronnie James Dio died on Sunday at the age of 67 to complications of stomach cancer.

This message posted by Wendy Dio was found today on Dio’s website.

Dio is most famous for his song holy diver, which had has one of the most epic music videos of all times.

Dio is important to me because his stint as lead singer of black sabbath produced some of the best vocal metal tracks of all times. Sins of the Father being a song which currently has well over 500 plays in my itunes (that does not include the CD in my car.)

Ronnie James Dio, your music and vocals have held a major place in my heavy metal heart. You may have passed on, but your music will continue to play in my collection, now more than ever.

Bassnectar first dropped this track at Coachella music festival this spring (2010) and it was SICK.

You can see the preformance (I was about half way back in the tent) and just see how the audience went insane. The beat dropping was amazing.

You can imagine how happy I was when I got the email an hour ago with the official release of the track.

If you have not heard of bassnectar before then I REALLY recommend you check out the best dubstep music. I highly recommend timestretch the album as well as the free download with Nelly.

I first heard this song as part of a trailer for the game Bayonetta. I then heard it at the rock climbing gym. Now it has a spot in my workout warm up list.
